Why Compass Transaction Bundler Saves You Gas

Compass Transaction Bundler reduces gas costs by:

• ✅ Avoiding repeated base gas fees Instead of paying the base cost for each transaction, it combines multiple actions into one—so you only pay the base fee once.

• ✅ Reusing loaded information (in the Ethereum Virtual Machine) When the same data is accessed multiple times within a single bundled transaction, it’s much cheaper than accessing it separately in multiple transactions.

Experiments

We ran tests on Base mainnet using representative DeFi transaction sequences, comparing gas usage with and without Compass Bundler.

Experiment A: 10-Transaction Bundle

Transaction sequence:

Results: Bundling the 10 transactions into a single atomic transaction saved ~47% in gas (1.89× improvement):

➡️ View bundled transaction on Basescan — it executed the full sequence using just 672,284 gas.

Experiment B: Larger Bundles

We extended testing to bundles of up to 100 transactions. Gas savings increase with bundle size, though returns diminish:

• 2× savings at 11 transactions
• 3× savings at 47 transactions
